Tamborine Mountain Eagles  1 db 2   Southport Warriors

One week freezing... , the next week boiling! As our U13 division 1 side arrived at Southport, the coaches braced for the worst - an energy-sapping encounter with a side that supposedly played in these conditions every week! In the dressing room, the team were presented with brand new jerseys! The jerseys were absolutely fantastic, and no-one could wait until the game started so that they could show off their new jerseys. Thanks Dane! Tamborine Mountain looked in control for the first five minutes, passing the ball around and creating some chances. Southport scored halfway through the first half and lead at half time 1-0. Mid-way through the second half, Martin scored a fabulous goal from a free kick to put the team within a small distance to win their second consecutive match.
An unfortunate own goal late in the second half decided the match, but no-one minded; I think everyone was dying to get back into a cool dressing room. A fabulous match altogether, and everyone is looking forward to a quite alot more exciting matches! Well done!
Another chance created!
And another one!

Home Club LogoThe two Tamborine Mountain U13 teams had a great start to this season! Both sides and their opponents played in very wet and slippery conditions. The ball was flying everywhere! Our Under 13 division 1 side played Kingscliff and managed to score 14 goals! The wet conditions forced the goalkeepers to work extremely hard to even just hold onto the ball! Looking forward to a great season ahead!
